Missy Peregrym was born on June 16, 1982, in Montrel, Quebec in Canada. She is an actress and former fashion model. She made her feature film debut in the 2006 gymnastics comedy drama Stick it. She played a recurring role as Candice Wilmer on the NBC television series Heroes and starred in the CW television series Reaper. She recently starred as Andy McNally on the ABC and Global TV television series Rookie Blue. Missy in 2013, won a Streamy Award for her role in the web series Cybergeddon. In 2014, Peregrym co-starred with Jeff Roop and Eric Balfour in the survival bear attack film Backcountry. In 2016, Peregrym was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for her role in Rookie Blue but ultimately lost to Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany.
Missy is married to an Australian actor, Tom Oakley. They got married in 2018 and are still together in 2023. The couple have been blessed with two children.

Melissa Peregrym, famously known as Missy Peregrym was born to Rev. Darrell and Vanessa Peregrym. Missy’s parents were high religious. Her father was a minister in a Pentecostal church and her mother was a house wife.
Missy wasn’t the typical “daughter of a minister” that you would anticipate, despite being raised in a traditional religious home. She stated during interviews that she would come across as a tomboy growing up even though she never had any male siblings.
