Jared Keeso’s Parents: Who are Jared Keeso’s Parents?
The Keeso family has a longstanding connection to the Keeso Sawmill Company, established in 1872, and they were the owners and operators of this business. Before pursuing his career in acting, Jared Keeso spent many years actively involved in the operations of the sawmill.
Jared’s father, Richard Keeso is the founder of J.H Keeso and Sons Sawmill which was destroyed in the late hours of 10th September, 2018. Richard is said to be a fifth-generation forester, imitating the footsteps of family members who worked in the sawmill as far back as 1872. The Keeso family sawmill has in time past been recognised as a giant in sustainable forest management and quality hardwood lumber.
Richard is a graduate of Resource Management from the National Hardwood Association in Tennessee where he learnt to grade hardwoods. Aside from the sawmill, Richard was also a fitness coach who in time past had served as a hockey coach for his children.
Jared’s mother, Anne, on the other hand, had been in her husband’s life and business for over fifty years. Not much is known about her aside from being the mother of Jared and his siblings.

Jared Keeso’s Siblings
Keeso has a brother known as Alan Keeso and a sister, Abigail Keeso. The Keeso siblings grew up playing hockey, their father was their coach.
Alan Keeso is a scholarship athlete who pursued higher education at the University of Oxford a skater joined the Canadian Forces. He extended his engagement in politics by running for office with the Conservative Party of Canada in 2019.
His sister, Abigail Keeso, on the other hand, is a professional nurse at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. She is also the co-founder of a nutrition planning business, “That Clean Life” which aims to streamline the process of offering nutrition guidance, making it accessible and enjoyable.
Jared Keeso’s Career
Keeso is famous for making and starring in the funny show, “Letterkenny” which won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Series in 2017. He also did a great job as “Ben Chartier” in another series called “19-2” in 2014, earning him another award.
Apart from his success in comedy, Jared played roles like “Don Cherry” in television series like, “Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story” and “The Wrath of Grapes: The Don Cherry Story II”, winning awards like the Leo Award and Gemini Award.
He has been in other films like “Eve’s Christmas (2004)”, “Seventeen & Missing(2006)”, “The Death & Life of John F. Donovan(2018)”, “Shoresy(2022)” and more.
