Missy Peregrym was born on June 16, 1982 in Montréal, Québec. She lived most of her life in Surrey, British Columbia, with her father, a Rev. minister, her mother and two sisters. She began her career in front of the camera at age 18, when she started modeling. The print advertisements soon turned into commercials for Mercedes Benz, Sprint Canada, and the Olympics. It wasn’t long before Hollywood came calling.

Missy made her first guest appearance on the action-drama series Dark Angel, opposite Jessica Alba. Missy starred as Haley Graham in the 2006 gymnastics movie Stick It. She also starred as police officer Andy McNally in ABC’s prime-time cop show Rookie Blue in 2010.

Missy is married to Tom Oakley and the two are still together. They got married in 2018 and have been blessed with two children, a son and a daughter. She was previously married to Zachary Levi but filled for divorced after a year of marriage to him.
