Michael McCloud and Heather Mattheisen are Dash McCloud’s parents. They got married on June 25, 2013. In addition to Dash, they have a younger son Duke McCloud who was born on born on October 25, 2019.
His father Michael McCloud has decided to keep his life private however his mother Heather Mattheisen, is a former professional dancer turned actor and a Meisner expert. She finished a two-year Meisner programme at Carolyn Barry Acting Academy with Joshua Bitton. She has also performed at Groundlings’ advanced level. Margie Haber Studios, Advance Scene Study with Joshua Bitton and Heidi Dippold, LA Acting Studios, Daniela Eskinazi, and Stuart K. Robinson commercial classes are among the additional training options. Heather has been in advertisements for companies such as Rakuten, Blue Buffalo, V-tech, Texas Health, Facebook, My Math Academy, ABC Mouse, and others. Heather founded a dance studio in Agoura Hills, California, in 2009, where she educated young dancers, served on the Agoura Hills Chamber of Commerce, created a PE curriculum for the local school district, and gave back to her community. When her son Dash was born, she sold it and went into performing. Heather is now an outspoken advocate for better treatment of children in the entertainment business. She intends to one day serve on the board of SAG to assist increase children’s safety and advocate for their mental health and well-being.
