She was found three weeks later on a rural road where she asserted that two women who were Hispanic had kidnapped her at gunpoint but the police later found out that she had been living with her ex-boyfriend, James Reyes during these three weeks.
Keith has been surprised at the revelation, six years after her abduction. Sherri was arrested and pleaded guilty to the charges of causing public unrest and making false statements to the police. The couple separated in March and later divorced in April, 2022.
Since this incident, not much has been heard of him as he has been living a private life with his two children at Mountain Gate in California.
