Raza Jaffrey is a British singer and actor. He is well known for his appearances as Zafar Younis in BBC One’s spy thriller Spooks (2004-2007) and Neal Hudson in CBS’s medical drama Code Black (2015). Raza Jaffrey was born on May 28, 1973, in Merseyside, Liverpool. His biological father Hyder Jaffrey was born in Agra, India. He later relocated to Pakistan as a result of the change in political borders in India. Later, he relocated to the UK to be trained in the merchant marine. Within the shortest possible time, he rose to the rank of captain.
In the 1950s, Hyder fell in love with Irish Catholic Liverpudlian Joan Bradshaw, and the two spent ten years living in Karachi, Pakistan.
