Yoane Wissa is a French-Congolese professional football player who plays as a forward or winger for English Premier League side Newcastle United in England and also the Democratic Republic of Congo. Born on 3 September 1996 in Épinay-sous-Sénart, France.

Unlike most football players Yoane started his football career as a goalkeeper at 7 years old while playing for his boyhood club Épinay-sous-Sénart. He later realised he was also good at midfield and forward, so he started concentrating on that. Wissa began his senior career as a forward with Châteauroux and progressed through the reserve team to break into the first team during the 2015–16 Championnat National season, which he finished with 24 appearances and seven goals.
He later joined Anger Fc in 2016, loaned to Laval and Ajaccio where he left later in 2018. He joined Lorient in 2018 where he established himself as a player where he spent 4 years at the club scoring 37 goals with 128 matches played.
Yoane spent 2021- 2024 with English side Brentford then finally moved to his current team Newcastle in 2025.
