Growing up, Fazal attended the prestigious La Martiniere College in Lucknow, before transferring to the all-male boarding school, The Doon School in Dehradun. It was during his time at The Doon School that Fazal first discovered his passion for drama, starring in many school plays, including a memorable performance as the jester Trinculo in Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
After completing his education, Fazal went on to graduate from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai with a degree in economics. However, his true calling was in the world of acting and Fazal soon debuted in the 2008 English Language film, “The Other End of the Line.” He followed this up with a role in the American TV miniseries “Bollywood Hero” in 2009, before making his Bollywood debut later that year with a small part in the smash hit film, “3 Idiots.”
