From the onset it was known Issahaku was going to be a great football player when he scored 8 goals in 13 matches in his first season for his club. Second season came and Issahaku registered 12 goals and assists in 14 games played.

He gained international recognition at that young age when he played for Ghana U-20 in the Cup of Nations in 2021 with big European clubs trying to get his signature. He finally chose to sign for Portuguese side Sporting CP in April 2022. After starting a few matches from the bench he was loaned to Leicester City in 2023 where he impressed the management which made the move a permanent one.
